Stroke is a motion of a piston.

 

WHAT IS A 2 STROKE  &  4STROKE ENGINE

A two-stroke engine is an engine that completes a power cycle with two strokes of the piston during only one crankshaft revolution.

A four-stroke engine is an internal combustion engine in which the piston completes four separate strokes while turning the crankshaft.

 

 OPERATION OF THE 2 STROKE & 4 STROKE

A four-stroke has separate piston stroke for each 4functions necessary to spark ignition engine: Intake, Compression, Power and exhaust.

A two-stroke  engine all five functions of the cycle are  completed in only 2 stroke of the piston or one revolution of  the crankshaft.
